Born 1951 in Kyritz, Ostprignitz (Germany)
1969 Abitur, apprenticeship as a photographer in his father’s business in Kyritz
1970 – 1975 Studium der Fotografie an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig(Diplom)
since 1975 freelance work in Leipzig and Berlin: photography, illustrative collages, book design
1985 Move to Munich
