In the work “Ghostwriter” I reflect on the year 1985, when I left the GDR. At that time I lived in an idyllic village. 25 years later, the chronicle of this time, carefully observed, collected and written down, can be found in my Stasi files. I processed my own photographs, private souvenir images and the notes made by “ghostwriters” into image-text montages.
